Big Shoes to Fill
- The Greyhounds will have big shoes to fill this season, as
Livy Rosenzweig wrapped up her illustrious playing career in 2022.
- Rosenzweig finished as the Loyola career leader in points and assists, among several single season records. She also finished her career with the third-most assists and 4th most points in NCAA history.
- The Greyhounds will also have to replace the goal contributions from
Sam Fiedler and Ellie Kluegel. Fiedler sits at ninth all-time in Loyola in goals, while Kluegel is at 11th all-time.
- Loyola also has a new face in goal, as they said goodbye to All-American
Kaitlyn Larsson after last season. Larsson finished her career in the top-10 in career saves for the Greyhounds.

- Following the loss to No. 2 Syracuse and a win over Lehigh, the Greyhounds are ranked 9th in the ILWomen/IWLCA coaches poll and 12th in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Poll.
- Lehigh is not ranked in the poll.
- The Greyhounds schedule has seven teams ranked in this week's polls. Syracuse (1st), Florida (8th), Army (13th), Princeton (17th), Penn State (20th), Penn (24th) and Navy (25th) appeared in the ILWomen/IWLCA coaches poll. Johns Hopkins received votes in this weeks poll.
Patriot Players of the Week
- Two games into the season, and the Greyhounds have already earned two Patriot League Player of the Week Awards.

Jillian Wilson was named the Patriot League Midfielder of the Week following the Greyhounds win over Johns Hopkins.
- Wilson scored three goals while also adding an assist. She added five draw controls in the game as the Greyhounds won 12-10.
- Following her career-day against Towson,
Sydni Black was named Patriot League Attacker of the Week.
- Black scored a career-high five goals and had a high of seven points in the Greyhounds 16-5 win over the Tigers.
- Black also won Attacker of the Week for the following week, after she put up another career week.

Lauren Spence was named Goalkeeper of the Week following the wins over Penn and Penn State for compiling 20 saves over the week.

Katie Detwiler was named Patriot League defensive player of the week for a record-tying 12th time.
Latch, Wilson, and Detwiler Earn Preseason PL Awards

Georgia Latch was named the Patriot League Preseason Attacker of the Year by conference coaches.
- The sophomore out of Austrailia is coming off of one of the best freshmen seasons in program history, as she was second on the team with 76 points, as tallied 38 goals and 38 assists.

Jillian Wilson was named the Patriot League Preseason Midfielder of the Year.
- Wilson is the reigning Patriot League Midfielder of the Year after tallying a career best 48 goals and the second most draw controls in a season in program history (133).

Katie Detwiler was named the Patriot League Preseason Defender of the Year.
- Detwiler is the two-time reigning Defensive Player of the Year in the Patriot League. She tallied a career-high 20 caused turnovers and 53 draw controls in 2022, as she led the Greyhounds stellar defense.

Sydni Black has been on a tear over the Greyhounds first eight games.
- Black has tallied 32 points in eigh games, including two career-high games.
- In the Greyhounds game at Towson, Black set a career-high with five goals and seven points in the Greyhounds win.
